BLACK MESA PROJECT DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT

As a starting point in reviewing the Draft EIS, you may want to read the Executive Summary . Below you may access it by clicking the link to it. The Executive Summary is an overview of the Draft EIS and its conclusions. It contains a map of the project area and maps showing the permit area for the Black Mesa Complex under each of the three alternative decisions analyzed. It also contains a table summarizing the impacts by alternative.

The Draft EIS is a large, 758-page document. Below you may access the entire Draft EIS by clicking on the link to it. Once you are in the document, you may click on the Bookmark tab in the left margin of the first page to see the bookmarked sections of the document. Clicking on a bookmarked section will take you directly to that section of the Draft EIS.

You may save copies of the Executive Summary and Draft EIS to your personal computer or computer system. Alternatively, you may decide that you only want to copy parts of the Draft EIS. Below for your convenience we have separated the Draft EIS into parts so that you may copy them.
